As a result, it has become more important than ever to secure online transactions and store confidential information such as a PIN – a personal identification number.
We can proudly say that Bamcard d.d., after detailed checks and fulfillment of strict requirements, became the only process center in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the implemented PCI PIN v3.0 standard.
The PCI PIN standard is one of the key standards in cardholder data protection adopted by the PCI Security Standards Council – a global forum working on cardholder data protection, card payments, and PIN data security by setting requirements for secure management, processing, and transmission of data for online and offline transactions.
Continuous adherence to security requirements for PIN data is key to maintaining a strong defense against their compromise and misuse, and any denial of security can lead to this sensitive data falling into the wrong hands.
