In November 2024, we introduced the Dynamic Currency Conversion service, which is certified by VISA and Mastercard card schemes. The service allows you to display the desired amount in the original currency in which the card was issued, which gives foreign cardholders a better insight into the amount of the payment.
What is Dynamic Currency Conversion?
When traveling in a foreign country, you might be asked to pay for your purchases in local currency. However, if the merchant offers DCC, you may receive the option to pay in your home currency, which includes exchange rate and additional fees. Or you might be withdrawing the local currency from an ATM and be billed in your home currency.
